🧵 About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager – Garments to drive business growth across Chennai, Bangalore, and Cochin regions.
The role involves managing key accounts, developing new markets, handling distributors/agents, and achieving sales targets in the garment sector.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve monthly & annual targets
• Manage and grow relationships with wholesalers, retailers, buying houses,
• Identify new business opportunities in Indian Markets
• Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors, dealers & sales executives
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity & customer requirements
• Coordinate with production, merchandising & logistics teams for timely execution
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports & market feedback
• Represent the company at textile exhibitions, trade fairs & client meetings
🎯 Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of knitted garments
• Proven sales negotiation & key account management skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal abilities
• Market analysis & regional sales planning capability
• Leadership skills to manage sales teams & channel partners
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
📌 Experience
• 5 – 10 years of sales experience in the garment industry
• Prior exposure to Chennai / Bangalore / Cochin textile markets is highly desirable
