QUALIFICATIONS:
A)
TEACHING (For the Disciplines of Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Education,
Social Sciences, Sciences, Languages)
I.PROFESSOR: ELIGIBILITY (A OR B):
A i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in
the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high
quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work
with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or
UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the
criteria.
ii) A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in University/College as
Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research
experience at equivalent level at the University/ National Level
Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral
candidate.
B. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the
relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not
included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to
the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline, supported by
documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.
II.ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
i)
A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/
relevant disciplines
ii)
A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a
point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
iii)
A minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching and / or research in an
academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in
a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry with a
minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
and a total research score of 75
III.ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: ELIGIBLITY (A OR B)
A.
i) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a
point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/
relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent
degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have
cleared the NET conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test
accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a
Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission.
B.
The Ph.D. Degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institutions
with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking

MANAGEMENT/ BUSSINESS ADMINISTRATION:
1.
PROFESSOR:
i)
Consistently good academic record with 55% marks in Master’s Degree in
Business Management/ Administration/ in a relevant discipline or
equivalent (OR)
ii)
First class graduate and professionally qualified CA/ Cost and works
Accountant/ Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body. (OR)
iii)
Ph.D. or Fellow of Indian Institute of Management or of an Institute
recognized by AICTE and declared equivalent by the AIU. (OR)
iv)
A minimum of ten years’ experience of teaching / industry / research
professional out of which 5 years must be at the level of Reader or
equivalent excluding the period spent for obtaining the research
degree.
2.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
i)
Master’s Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks
ii)
M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area with not less than 55% of marks
or an equivalent grade of B+ in 10-point scale of UGC or its
equivalent
iii)
Ph.D. in Special Education or Education with research emphasis on Special
Education.
iv)
Should have completed at least 8 years of teaching experience as faculty
out of which minimum 05 years should be in specific disability area.
C)
NON – TEACHING
a)
Group – A
Controller of Examinations & Assistant Controller of Examinations
–
i)
A Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or in Grade B of UGC
seven-point scale from a recognized University / Institute.
ii)
At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic
Level 11 and above
iii)
Knowledge of Computer Applications like M.S Office, Internet etc.
Finance Officer:
i)
Master’s Degree with Commerce or Business Administration or Comparable
equivalent degree in relevant area with at least 55% of the marks or its
equivalent
ii)
At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor.
Librarian & Assistant Librarian –
i)
A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science /
Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or its equivalent
ii)
At least 10 years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or 10
years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or
10 years’ experience as College Librarian.
b)
Group – B
- Section Officer
i)
A bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University with working knowledge of
Computer Applications in an Educational Institution.
ii)
8 years’ experience in relevant field
c)
Group – C
Film Operator: 10+3 or 12+2 Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics / Computer
Science with at least 2 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Laboratory Assistant: B.Sc. relevant subject from a recognized University
(or) Diploma in relevant field of Engineering / technology from recognized
polytechnic/Institute.
AGE LIMIT:
Up to 35 years
