SSC has announced the selection system for the post of Junior Engineer in
Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantitative Surveying in various
companies of the Central Government.
Vacancies:
There are approximately 1800 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer in
Border Road Corporation,
Central Public Works Department,
Central Water and Electric Research Center,
Central Water Corporation, Directorate of Quality Assurance (Navy),
Military Engineer Service,
National Institute of Technical Research.

Educational Qualification:
Must have completed
engineering course in related disciplines.
Age:
As on 1.1.2021 the Central Public Works Department, Central Water
Corporation should be under 32 for companies and 30 for other companies.
From this there is an age privilege for the reservation category.
Passing system:
Two-stage written examination,
certification
verification.
Examination Center: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Trichy, Nellai,
Vellore in Tamil Nadu.
