Desired Qualifications
a. Experience in ex-situ conservation in Wildlife
b. Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS) and GIS tools for
spatial analysis and mapping.
c. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate
effectively with diverse stakeholders, including scientists, policymakers,
and local communities. d. Strong organizational and project management
skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
in a fast-paced environment
e. Publication(s) in national or International peer-reviewed journal
Key Responsibilities.
a. Conduct field surveys to monitor wildlife and habitat assessments.
b. Analyze data collected from field surveys and research studies, using
statistical methods and GIS software to assess population trends, habitat
use, and threats to wildlife.
c. Assist in the development and implementation of conservation plans and
management strategies to mitigate direct and indirect threats to
Wildlife.
d. Assist in collaborating with local communities, government agencies, and
conservation organizations to raise awareness about Wildlife conservation
issues and promote community-based conservation initiatives.
e. Provide training and technical support to the forest department,
volunteers, and community members involved in Wildlife conservation
activities.
f. Stay updated on current research, best practices, and emerging threats
related to Wildlife conservation, contributing to the scientific knowledge
base and informing conservation strategies.
g. Support the team in conducting community consultations for conservation
of Wildlife and any other activity.
