In addition to the above, candidates possessing the under mentioned sports
norms are also eligible to apply.

Position in National games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics
Association (OR) At least 3d position in All India Inter University
Championships organized under the aegis of Association of Indian
Universities.
ATHLETICS:
Gold Medal winner in Open National Championships (Senior), Inter State
Athletics Championships (Senior) and Asian Championships (Senior) may be
considered for recruitment against the post in GP-2800 (Level-5)
CRICKET (Men) for recruitment against the post in GP-2800(Level-5):
a) Representation in Main Indian Seniors Team in 2 Test Matches/Limited
overs One Day International Matches/Twenty-20 Matches.
b) Representation of India A and India U-19 Team in 2 Test matches 12
Limited Overs One Day International Matches/2 Twenty-20 Overs Matches.
BASKETBALL: Participation and medal winning performance in the events
organized by the Basketball Federation of India after 26.07.2017 will be
considered for recruitment.
KABADDI: Weight criteria in Men's category should be 85 kg and below body
weight and for Women's category 75 kg and below body weight at the time of
attending the Trials. Candidates weighing above 85 kg in case of Men and
above 75 kg in case of Women at the time of trials will not be allowed to
participate in the trials.
VOLLEYBALL: The Sports achievement in the Events conducted by Volleyball
Federation of India or its affiliated Units after 25.06.2020 shall not be
considered for recruitment. However, the certificates issued by the
Association of Indian Universities and the International Federations for
recognized Sports achievements in the game of Volleyball will be considered
for recruitment.
For recruitment of Sportspersons, on the basis of sports achievements in
Junior National Championships, the age groups as mentioned below shall only
be considered

Note: All the candidates appointed through Sports Quota will have to
undergo
probation period for two years.
MEDICAL EXAMINATION:
Selected candidates will have to undergo medical examination and found fit
for the medical classification prescribed for the post.
