WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR ITI APPRENTICESHIP
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing,
Kancheepuram (TDM Kancheepuram) invites eligible candidates for
Walk-in-interview to be engaged as an Apprentice under the Apprentices Act
1961:
Objectives of Apprenticeship Training Scheme:
Apprentices Act, 1961 was enacted with the following objectives: (i) To
regulate the programme of training of apprentices in the industry to conform to
the syllabi, period of training etc. as laid down by the Central Apprenticeship
Council; and (i) To utilize fully the facilities available in industry for
imparting practical training with a view to meeting the requirements of skilled
manpower for industry.
To promote such training, various establishments under Central and State
Governments are identified by the Regional Directors/State Apprenticeship
Advisers. ITDM Kancheepuram is also one of the establishments identified for
this purpose.

National Trade Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training in "Computer Hardware, Network & Maintenance"

General Conditions/Instructions
1. The Apprenticeship Training is covered under a
contract of apprenticeship between IIITDM Kancheepuram and the apprentice.
Before the commencement of Apprenticeship training, the selected candidate is
to enter into a contract of apprenticeship with TDM Kancheepuram.
2. It is not obligatory on the part of TDM
Kancheepuram to offer any employment to the apprentice on completion of
apprenticeship training nor it is obligatory on the part of apprentice to
accept an employment under IITDM Kancheepuram.
3. Only Indian Nationals need apply.
4. Candidates should have completed 14 years of age as
on 01.07.2024.
5. Candidates should bring following self-attested
copies of the relevant certificates/testimonials along with the original
certificates/documents.
a) SSLC Certificate/Marksheet
b) National Trade Certificate
c) Govt. Identity Card (Aadhar Card/Driving
License/Voter ID,etc.)
6. No travelling or any other allowances is admissible
for attending the written test/interview.
7. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the
position, if it so decides.
8. No interim correspondence will be entertained.
9. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
