UPSC has announced the selection for the post of Scientist in the
Archaeological Survey of India and the Central Groundwater Board.
Vacancy:
There are a total of 40
seats in the 'Chemist Group A' category in the field of Archeology and 25
in the 'Scientist B' (Hydrogeology 16, Chemical 3, Geophysics 6) category
in the Central Groundwater Board.
Eligibility:
MSc in Chemist, Chemistry, MSc in Geology, Marine Geology or Hydrogeology
for Scientists.
Age:
Must be between 21 - 32
years old as on 1.1.2021. From this there is an age privilege for the
reservation category.
Passing system:
Online written test,
interview.
Examination Center:
Chennai only in Tamil
Nadu.
